Lisa joined us for our season on Covid, Climate, and Capitalism. She channels her passion for justice with UNITE HERE! Local 5 hotel workers union representing close to 11,000 hospitality and healthcare workers throughout the state. Lisa shares the workersʻ perspective of how the government and corporations have been responding to the pandemic and the reopening of Hawaiʻi’s biggest industry.
Lisa is a graduate of Mililani High School and attended the University of Hawaiʻi, Mānoa where she received her Bachelor's in Women's Studies and Ethnic Studies.
